Feministaldia is a festival that has been celebrated since 2006 during December. It is a festival of feminist culture to make visible all those creative women and activists who work to alter meanings, question forms and backgrounds, tell new stories. In its beginnings it was held in the Arteleku space in San Sebastián, and since 2015 it has been held in Tabakalera and Kontadores. Organized by Plazandreok, it has the collaboration of Emakunde, the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council, the San Sebastián City Council and Tabakalera. Feministaldia promotes spaces of freedom for feminist expression and facilitates meeting spaces between women artists, feminists and activists of various tendencies and disciplines. It is a meeting and creation place for women close to feminist culture and for those who are on the margins and who question hegemonic approaches. The Festival is organized around three lines: disclosure, practice and play; with varied formats: exhibitions, conferences, debates, workshops, concerts, documentaries, theater, performance.
