Robohand - 3D Party Solidarioa = Robohand – 3D Party Solidaria

Organised by the IEFPS Don Bosco secondary school, in cooperation with the company Tumaker, GAZE Taldea, Cruz Roja and Hirikilabs, 3D Party Solidaria is 3D printing session with a charitable aim: to manufacture robotic hands for distribution among children in the third world who have suffered amputations.

The aim is to print pieces for building "low cost" prosthetic hands as part of the "Robohand" project. The prosthesis made will be donated to the Red Cross, who will distribute them in the countries affected by war and whose civil population suffer amputations due to anti-personnel mines.

The event is open and any "maker" who wants to participate can go along to Don Bosco with their printer and participate in the party.

The session will be held in the gym, next to Don Bosco's football pitch, and doors are open to the general public. It will be a unique opportunity to see so many 3D printers working at the same time with a charitable purpose and producing a cheap product that can help a lot of people without their own resources.
