Jarduera artistikoen institutuaren deialdia 2020 = Convocatoria del instituto de actividades artísticas 2020 = Open call 2020 : institute of artistic activities

The JAI -Institute of Artistic Activities- study programme will start on June 2020 and during three months it will work as a space for the exchange and transmission of artistic methodologies. The training will take place in Tabakalera's Artist's Space between June 1 and August 30 and wiill have afterwards a visibility period at the Artium Museum.

Ibon Aranberri (artist), Asier Mendizabal (artist and lecturer at KKH, Royal Institute of Art of Stockholm) and Itziar Okariz (artist) will be the tutors of the institute, where the artists Katinka Bock, June Crespo, Moyra Davey, Jon Mikel Euba, Kobe Matthys-Agency, Lily Reynaud Dewar, Camila Sposati and Zbynëk Balandran will participate as teaching staff.

Beatriz Herráez (director of Artium Museum, Vitoria-Gasteiz), Oier Etxeberria (Contemporary Art Manager at CICC Tabakalera, San Sebastian) and the tutors of the programme make up the Programme Committee. The committee members will make the selection of the 16 participants that will be part of the Institute.

Registration period: 21st February - 31st March. The resolution of the open call will be communicated on the 10th April, 2020
