Programa 09. Playtime audiovisuales
When we were preparing this new chapter of Program 09, in May, we asked Playitme Audiovisuales collective members (Natalia Piñuel and Enrique Piñuel) to make us a proposal around the concepts of portrait and self-portrait. Playtime has proposed a workshop with the artist Felix Fernandez and two projections. On the one hand, the workshop delves into the pursuit of each person’s creativity from the everyday; on the other hand, chosen features propose an approach to the construction of identity through the practice found footage, the home movies and amateur filming.
During this session Playtime audiovisuales collective members will explain their approach to the subject of audiovisual portrait and present the first film from the series curated by them.
Reminiscencias, Juan Daniel F. Molero. 2010. 82'
Debut of Juan Daniel F. Molero, in which from domestic material filmed and recorded by his grandfather (Super 8) , his father (VHS ) and himself (Digital) makes an autobiographical reconstruction of his life, after an accident in 2009 that resulted in amnesia. Through the film he will try to find its identity, getting to portray the life of a family and the history of a country.
