La tienda de los horrores, 1986, United States, Frank Oz, 94 min. OST (Subtitles in Spanish)

We finish the summer cinema film series around the exhibition “Botanika Artean” with a film whose protagonist is a plant: Audrey II. Little Shop of Horrors is an amusing musical from the 80’s that tells the story about a ruined florist. Seymour, one of the employees, finds an unusual plant in a Chinese garden center. Audrey II becomes the attraction of the shop and the customers and sales increase. However, the plant seems to be more and more sick until finally, one day Seymour discovers what food it needs: human blood.

Directed by Frank Oz and starred by Steve Martin or Bill Murray among others, this version of the classical film made by Roger Corman in 1960, completes the itinerary we made through different films that set up a connection between human and nature reaching even the supernatural.
