Resto-Rastro emerges from the printed image as the starting material. Through different manipulations, the paper material and the printed image come into conflict to become the figure and background. This instant of pause will be the motivation to continue with the plastic work. To mark or etch the image, almost in the sense of scarification, of grooves on the material, like a verification that the image has been traced to reveal its materiality more than the dream it promises.
