Las cunetas empiezan en África y terminan en nuestros cuerpos is an exploration of the construction of the “national landscape”, starting with the history of Spain's Army of Africa and the repression of the revolutionary strike of 1934. The project investigates the masculine, racist and heteronormative perspective that shapes the landscape, seeking a non-descriptive and “delirious” image that reproaches the opacity of the territory. What images can we find during our wanderings that tell us about the distances and proximities —geographical and temporal— which from the outskirts of the metropolis comprise the life we live?
