Leticia Ybarra Pasch : matches of sleep

Matches of Sleep is a piece of research that starts from the visual nature of text in order to examine how certain expressive needs are forced to implement specific uses and circulations of language and representation —in code, in dreams, swollen, excessive, metaphorical— when affected by situations of constraint and imposed grammars. To this end, the project is structured through the figure of Pierrot, an archetype that, although present since the commedia dell'arte, his capacity to constantly renew himself will set in motion strategies of surrealism and the idea of a “queer flight”.
