Estimulantes : circulación y euforia

This workshop seeks to extend the main lines of research undertaken by the project Stimulants: Traffic and Euphoria. It will address the traffic of stimulants at various levels such as the contemporary colonial economy, the metabolism, technology, biochemistry and the environment, as well as the art, philosophical thinking and aesthetic sensitivity that we inherited from global history.

The workshop will consider the need to understand the so-called "microphysics of power" (Michel Foucault) in material, economic and political terms, to better understand the mechanisms and technologies of the power of contemporary capitalism.
