Labo is the freshest section of the Clermont-Ferrand Festival which has one clear objective: to showcase the most risky and innovative proposals of the moment. Films with non-conventional narratives, hybrid works, films with a specific graphic style, an unstructured cut or a peculiar soundtrack, or those that play around with the very nature of film material itself.

Somehow voyeuristic, we observe pawns in a virtual world, which are choreographed and directed by the filmmaker. IN BETWEEN IDENTITIES makes us part of the game and of the simulated identity.

Inspired by the heated debate over two "white American flags" that suddenly appeared on New York City’s Brooklyn Bridge, the film asks what kind of societal scope art has in the present day.
