Blutubot telegidatua eraiki : robotika lantegia = Construye blutubot teledirigido : taller de robótica = Build your own remotely controlled blutubot : Robotics workshop
In this workshop you'll learn how to assemble a Blutubot, a robot that is remotely controlled by mobile. The workshop will give you a chance to learn how to build and control robots, how to use and program Arduino boards and how to create mobile apps using App Inventor. The aim is to assemble a remotely-controlled robot, using DC motors, servo motors, gear reducers, Bluetooth antennae and mobile phones.
The first thing to do is to put together the motor and reducer unit, to reduce the speed of the DC motors, since otherwise the robot would be uncontrollable. The next step involves installing the assembly on a chassis (made of recycled material). Once that’s finished, it’ll be time to test out the whole robot. These tests are very important, as they help identify any errors in the assembly.
Then you'll mount the servo motor, which controls the steering. You’ll have to run more tests to ensure that the robot is working optimally.
Then you’ll need to work on the electronics, wiring up the motor and servo motor to the Arduino board, program it and check that everything is working properly. Finally, you connect the Arduino board to the Bluetooth antenna. All that's left now is to install an application created with AppInventor (a development tool created at MIT). So now you’ll have your finished robot.
