In connection with the World Poetry Day (March 21st), Ferrer considered that it was essential to bring Serge Pey, the French poet, to San Sebastian, and to carry out his poetic action, ‘The march of the flags of poetry’, there (March 19th). In order to do so, on March 18th, Serge Pey himself had an open workshop to prepare the flags. Under his direction, the participants created symbols of art and poetry, using various materials (markers, crayons, plastic, wood). Participants used these flags the next day, in ‘The march of the flags of poetry’ that took place on the streets of San Sebastian.
