Mimosas, Oliver Laxe, Spain-France-Morocco-Qatar, 2016, 96', OV with Spanish subitles, DCP.

A caravan crosses the mountains of the Moroccan Atlas to escort a dying patriarch to the town where he was born. It is an undertaking fraught with uncertainties, but Ahmed and Saïd, two hustlers, claim to know the way.

Elsewhere, perhaps at another time, Shakib is recruited to oversee the journey and to ensure that the patriarch's widow sees that the tribe's promise is fulfilled.

Disoriented, they will have to overcome snow, persecutions, attacks and abductions but, in a quixotic twist, Shakib will do everything possible to cross the impassable mountains and, with the strength of his faith, transform the fate of the expedition.
