Indarkeria gazte jendean : biktimak ala borreroak? = Violencia en los jóvenes : ¿víctimas o verdugos?

Violence creates concern in today's society, especially when young people and teenagers participate in it. Besides the harm it causes to the victims, violent behaviour can ruin the future of these teenagers, both in personally and professionally. Violence can take on different shapes among young people: violence against your partner, sexual violence, school violence, hate crimes as a result of ethnic, xenophobic or religious reasons, etcetera. Society needs to respond to this situation, as it can not leave it exclusively in the hands of the police and the punishment measures of judges. Families, schools and the media can and must actively participate in the prevention of these violent behaviours. It has to detect these behaviours early, so that the intervention is effective. Today, working in a coordinated way, we can intervene effectively to deal with violence among young people. Expert Enrique Echeburua, a Clinical Psychology professor at the UPV/EHU Psychology School, coordinated the conference.
