Jesus Elosegui, photographer. He documented the landscapes of Gipuzkoa through photography. There are over 15,000 pictures stored in his archives. Although he was born in Tolosa, he lived in Pasaia between 1940 and 1960. He took over 500 pictures in the municipality. All of them can be seen on the Ondarebideak platform. In this circuit, taking his perspective as the basis, they carried out a tour and reflected on the changes of the landscape during the last few decades, with the help of QR codes. This way, they were able to go back to the ‘40s, the ‘50s and ‘60s. The tour was directed by ethnographer Fermin Leizaola and historian Eneko Sanz. Both are members of the Aranzadi Society of Sciences. On December 2nd, the tour was aimed at schools (over 12 years old) and, on December 3rd, it was open to all citizens.
