Ez da neutrala = No es neutral = It's not neutral

No es neutral is an exhibition dedicated to the latest and most socially committed art of Latin America, with works by 24 artists from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Uruguay. It offers an overview of artistic creation from the 1960s up to the present day.
The works in the exhibition mainly follow the conceptual strategies of contemporary art, although they take up their own position in the international art panorama. Their closeness to life and their immediacy stand out, as does the commitment to reality of a large number of the artists. They face up to history, different political situations and violence but mostly through aesthetic and poetic elements, using language and evocation and avoiding the use of explicit images of violence.
The exhibition is the result of a collaboration with Daros Latinamerica, the biggest collection of Latin American Contemporary Art in Europe.
