3D ikasi

Open group that intends to research 3D printing.
3D Ikasi is a group led by Carmen, Eugenio and Edu that meets every Wednesday in Hirikilabs to research 3D printing in the domestic environment and to learn by using free software programs, in order to be independent when designing and manufacturing in 3D.
They are currently developing an educational project that consists of the construction of an illuminated brain that shows, through colours, its composition and different functions. The project uses 3D printing, electronics and programming to reach its objective.
They are interested in looking at:
- 3D design software
- 3D printing software
- 3D scanning software
- Repositories of 3D objects
- 3D printing techniques
- Post-processing techniques
- Basic programming in Arduino
- Basic electronics
Who can join the open group?
Anyone interested in the brain project, as well as anyone who wants to spend some time on Wednesday afternoons looking at the opportunities provided by 3D printing.
