“Scanner Ibiltaria” is an itinerant project whose objective is to propel citizens’ involvement in culture through activities that bind together books and digitalization. To do so, and during 2014, a book scanner will be the starting point for different activities that will involve libraries, bookstores, and other centers and collectives related with the field of culture.

This project’s objectives are:

• Implement a technology training initiative for citizenship to stimulate them, so that they are active agents in terms of documentary heritage and creation of projects.
• Make people know about Tabakalera and its keys, in order to understand contemporary culture: cooperation, creation, working in networks.
