Eurovideo 2015

Videographies and Mons European Capital of Culture 2015 present EUROVIDEO 2015, a competition of young European video artists, combined with significant Cartes Blanches coming from Aachen, Sarajevo and Donostia-San Sebastian.

EUROVIDEO 2015 is joining the innovating network of the Cafes EUROPA organized by Mons 2015. The Festival will be simultaneously transmitted in several European cities with the support of RTC-Télé Liège. All the audiences will vote together for the European Public Award. The Grand Prix EUROVIDEO 2015 and the other Innovation prizes will be awarded by a Jury of European professionals.

In addition to the competition, three friends of Videographies will bring their colors to the program. The Ludwig Forum from Aachen will show original echos of German, Belgian and American histories of Art Video. The Duplex 100m2 from Sarajevo will open a window on the contemporary art video in Bosnia and Herzegovina, discovering the diversity of forms and topics. Finally, Tabakalera from Donostia-San Sebastian will bring the surprising winning video of the Special Prize to the most cutting-edge short film of their last Festival of Art Schools.
