In an attempt to imagine the emancipated architecture, this third edition of “City and other policies ” will examine the role that historically has had the practice of architecture in those historical moments when social models where called into question. Xavier Antich argues that the required claim of public space in common is inseparable from pluralism as its constitutive element . That is, the essentially democratic public space is one that affirms the common space but allows the coexistence of differences , heterogeneity . Common place is therefore not something existing by, but anything that is created or is coming.
