Screening  and talk with the director.

On October 4th, 2007 Arantza, the director of the film, was detained and taken to prison. She remembers a few things about those days: endlessly walking around the prison exercise yard, swimming competitions, Rasha’s prison journey… After 918 nights locked up, Arantza is set free. From then onwards, she recorded her memories and doubts, which are heard throughout the documentary as a kind of fragmented memoir.

Arantza Santesteban has a degree in History from the University of the Basque Country. She graduated in Creative Documentary at the Centre de Dones Francesca Bonemaison (2012, Barcelona). Likewise, she has developed training in Documentary Film Script with Carmen Ávalos (2013, Barcelona). She has done specific training with Víctor Erice (2015, Donostia / San Sebastián) and Patricio Guzmán (2016, Madrid).
In 2012 she began to develop her activity as a director of several documentaries, highlighting among them her first work Passatgeres. 
In 2015 she curated, along with others, the exhibition Gorputz_Grafiak at Koldo Mitxelena Kulturgunea. This work collects the research work and genealogy of the feminist movement in the Basque Country.
Together with Irati Gorostidi she has directed in 2017 the film Euritan, resulting selected in the 2017 KIMUAK Catalogue. She has participated in festivals such as Punto de Vista, Miradas Doc or the Malaga Film Festival.
In 2017 she was selected by the Centro Huarte de Arte Contemporáneo to develop a curatorial research residency. In the framework of this, she curated in June 2018 the international seminar "Images through: reflections on images in conflict".
She is a researcher in the framework of the Master "Communication, culture, society and politics" (UNED-Spain) and studies issues relating cinematic representation, feminism and contemporary political conflicts.
She is a PhD student in Film Studies at the University of Lisbon. She currently works at the Centro Huarte de Arte Contemporáneo.
