The intention is to vindicate the video game as a cultural product that provides a unique opportunity to experience realities and conflicts first-hand. This is because video games immerse players in these other realities, so that they have to make decisions and act in accordance with each of these: the horrors of war, environmental disasters, social conflicts... Situations involving tough moral dilemmas. In this way, video games are the perfect vehicle to invite reflection on human rights and promote critical thinking in a playful way. This premise has given rise to Insert Change, an open process of reflection and co-creation in which profiles from different disciplines will collaborate, resulting in the creation of a socially-oriented video game. The idea is to explore the critical potential of video games and their ability to create spaces for socialisation. But first and foremost, to have fun and play.
