Bertsos in countercultural fanzines? Zortziko txikia and zortziko handia in the center of the claims, symbols and aesthetics of the punk and harcore movements?
Within the framework of the book Rocka puntua!, we programmed two activities:
-A trip-discursive that narrates nature and why of the relationship between rock and bertsolarism, that is what Alberto Irazu, author of Rocka puntua! offered us: a journey from the fanzines to the vinyl records, from the old books with a special smell to the rock songs, from the forgotten videos to the most famous videos ... all of them from the hand to hand and from ear to ear.
-In the Pestea and Kakaxa fanzines published in the mid-1980s in the Andoain´s ancient gaztetxe, bertsolaritza had its place, and not just any place. The fanzine has been an alternative method to disseminate information; besides being a way to claim social and political issues, they have often been a showcase for many musical groups.
In this context, and following the ways of work of that time, we had the opportunity to make a collective fanzine in the workshop directed by Garbine
Ubeda.Rock, bersolarismo, fanzines, gaztetxes ... we gathered everything in this two interesting proposals.
